Der Bayerische Bergtag is a one especially contest which promotes portable and QRP work on frequencies from 144MHz to 300GHz. For this contest, you can find rules <here>.
BBT organizes every year a meeting with competition for the best DIY project. Next year the meeting is on 10th October in St.Englmar. On the BBT web pages, you can find also a lot of useful technical articles.
